• Jesper Erenskjold Moeslund obtained his PhD degree from Aarhus University in December 2012. Jesper Erenskjold Moeslund’s PhD is an interdisciplinary project involving MADALGO (Department of Computer Science), Ecoinformatics & Biodiversity (Department of Bioscience), and Agroecology (DCA). Jesper went on to work at Danish Centre for Environment and Energy (DCE).

• Freek van Walderveen obtained his PhD degree from MADALGO in October 2012. Freek is now working for SCALGO.

• Lasse Kosetski Deleuran obtained his PhD degree from MADALGO in September 2012. Lasse went on to to work as Software Developer at Cryptomathic.

• July 2012 Qin Zhang went on from his Post-doctoral fellowship at MADALGO to be a Post-doctoral fellow at IBM Almaden Research Center. In fall 2013 he will join School of Informatics and Computing at Indiana University Bloomington as an Assistant Professor.

• Summer 2012 Elad Verbin went on from his Post-doctoral fellowship at MADALGO.

• June 2012 Khan Do Ba obtained his PhD degree from from MADALGO (CSAIL, MIT).

• Summer 2012 Rishi Gupta obtained his MSc degree from MADALGO (CSAIL, MIT). Rishi went on to join the PhD program in Computer Science at Stanford University, under Tim Roughgarden.
  

• Summer 2012 Tom Morgan obtained his MSc degree from MADALGO (CSAIL, MIT). Tom went on to be a PhD student with the Harvard Theory of Computation group.

• April 2012 Lap-Kei Lee went on from his Post-doctoral fellowship at MADALGO to be a Post-doctoral fellow at the University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong.

• December 2011 Christian Sommer ended his Post-doctoral fellowship with MADALGO and went on to work at Apple.

• December 2011 Siamak Tazari ended his Post-doctoral fellowship at MADALGO and went on to work at Google.

• Jelani Nelson obtained his PhD degree from MADALGO (CSAIL, MIT) in June 2011. Jelani Nelson went on to be a a Post-doctoral fellow at the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute Fall 2011 program in Quantitative Geometry, followed by being a Post-doctoral fellow at the Princeton Center for Computational Intractibility and the Institute for Advanced Study. In summer 2013 he will begin as an assistant professor at Harvard University, United States.

• In February 2011, Mark Greve joined Facebook (and in May  VMware) as a software engineer intern until joining Octoshape as a software engineer in July 2011.

• Thor Prentow worked as Center programmer at MADALGO for 3 years. Thor is now working as programmer at SCALGO.

• Konstantinos Tsakalidis obtained his PhD degree from MADALGO in September 2011. Konstantinos went on to be a Post-doctoral fellow at the HKUST, Hong Kong.

• Pooya Davoodi obtained his PhD degree from MADALGO in July 2011. Pooya went on to be a Post-doctoral fellow at the Polytechnic Institute of New York University, United States.
  

• Nodari Sitchinava went on from his Post-doctoral fellow at MADALGO to be a Post-doctoral fellow at the Institute for Theoretical Computer Science at  Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Karlsruhe, Germany.

• Deepak Ajwani went on went on from his Post-doctoral fellow at MADALGO to be a Post-doctoral fellow at Centre for Unified Computing in University College Cork, Cork, Ireland.

• Peyman Afshani went on from his Post-doctoral fellowship at MADALGO to be a Post-doctoral fellow in the department of computer science at the Dalhousie University. From Marts 2012 Peyman Afshani holds an assistant professor position at MADALGO.
