Is there any way to avoid this? There probably is. I only have a single suggestion for now: Check that you have only one copy of sh.exe and the cygnus DLL on your machine, as mixing versions is known to be a problem. Otherwise, try running the beta compiler with the '-p' switch. This preserves the job-file, which is the file executed by sh.exe. You can then do experiments, like removing the quotes around the filenames, giving sh switches on start, etc and start the jobfile by 'sh nti/gnu/something.job' Even though Mjølner is not giving support for the GNU tools, you might get some help anyway by writing support@mjolner.com with a description of the problem and how to provoke it.
